The Spirit and You Foundation is driven by the Yoruba concept of Iwa Pele, a commitment to good character, healthy community, and sustaining cultural practices.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of Greater Newark residents and their global communities. We do so through a combination of personal development programs, cultural engagement, and community centered events.

We believe in the power of community, the importance of self-discovery, and the transformative nature of spirituality. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can come together to learn, grow, and find purpose.

We serve the City through impactful community-centered engagements, grounded in the wisdom of African diasporic cultural principles and philosophies. In doing so we support and honor individuals on the road to self-actualization. Our programs and services are designed to promote self-discovery, encourage personal growth, foster a sense of community, and teach people who to express their transformative  spirituality in transformative ways.
